Graduate Students Receiving Loans
Borrowing patterns differed across racial and ethnic groups during the 2015–16 academic year, with a higher proportion of Black or African American and Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander students taking out federal or private loans to pay for their degree program. Asian students were the least likely to borrow through loans.
